This extends from social networking sites like Facebook and Twitter, to review systems, such as the one maintained by Amazon.

I personally deal with geo-tagged tweets around the Austin metropolitan area for means of threat analysis and trend-finding.

We would like to be able to identify all tweets leaving the Austin area by means of plaintext identification and geo-tagged coordinates (latitude, longitude), and through these tweets, use a form of clustering that will reveal behavior trends in Austin.
In this manner, we can provide recommendations, or advisory warnings to residents. |
